SOFPON FCT-Keffi Chapter Conducts Successful Free Medical Outreach in Shape Community

The Chairman of the Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON), FCT-Keffi Chapter Dr Ngozi Mmamelu – along with members of the executive, recently led a free medical outreach to Shape community — an initiative aimed at bringing quality healthcare closer to underserved populations.

The outreach was a resounding success, as members of the community came out en masse to receive medical consultations, screenings, medications, and health education. The event showcased the vital role of Family Physicians in delivering compassionate, community-based, and holistic care.

This outreach was part of the activities lined up for the 2025 World Family Doctor Day (WFDD) celebration, themed “Building Mental Resilience in a Changing World.” It reflects SOFPON’s commitment to not only treating illness but also promoting health and resilience in our communities.

The SOFPON FCT-Keffi Chapter remains committed to improving primary healthcare access and promoting wellness across all communities in the region.

Together, we’re building healthier lives — one community at a time.
